イベント制作会社のセレスポは、イベント分野におけるサステナビリティの実現に向けた研究・開発を行なう研究機関「サステナブルイベント研究所」を7月3日に設立する。
2012年に国際標準規格『イベントの持続可能性に関するマネジメントシステム』が発行されロンドン五輪で活用されたことをきっかけにして、国際イベントを中心にサステナビリティへの配慮が強く求められるようになった。
