・ガラスの交換は木枠をばらす必要があり、木枠をばらすと塗装をもう一度し直す可能性がある。
ガラスの交換だけと思っていたが、そうではなかった。
数万円の修理費用は高く君は払えないので、私は商品の返品を希望する

I inquired with the music box repair company about repair costs.
Repair can cost tens of thousands of yen.
Company's explanation:
*Since cracked glass can get into the music box's working mechanisms, the music box has to be completely dissembled. (Even if just a small amount of glass remains in the mechanism section, it's possible the music box will not function properly.)
*Replacing glass requires taking apart of the wood frame, and if the wood frame is taken apart there is a chance the coating will need to be redone.
I thought that only replacement of the glass was needed, but this was not the case.
Since you are not willing to pay tens of thousands of yen for repair costs, I would like to return the item to you.

I asked about the repair of the music box to an repair factory to find that it could cost as much as several 10 thousand yen.
The repair factory said that:
Fractures of the glass might have fallen into the gap of the mehcanism. They have to diassemble the whole body to find if there is any fracture of the glass, because, if any, it may interfere the mechanism.
Replacing the glass requires diassembling the wooden frame, which also requires re-painting of the frame.
I expected that all I needed was to repalce the galss, but it has turned out to be negative.
Several 10 thousand yen is too much for you to pay, and I want to return this item to you, though it is regrettable.

-When replacing the glass, they have to disassemble and maybe repaint the wooden frame.
