日本政府観光局は5月17日、品川プリンスホテルで「ムスリム・ツーリズムセミナー」を開催。
インバウンド関係者の注目を集めているインドネシアやマレーシアからのムスリム層の訪日旅行者誘致をテーマに講演を行なう。
JNTO担当者がムスリム層の旅行最新動向を紹介するほか、両国の旅行会社の代表者がムスリム旅行者の特性などを説明する。
日本とアセアンの交流40周年となる今年、観光庁とJNTOでは「東南アジア・訪日100万人プラン」を掲げて訪日促進に取組んでおり、同セミナーはその一環。

Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) will hold "Muslim tourism seminar" in Shinagawa Prince Hotel on May 17.
A lecture will be delivered in it. It aims to increase Muslim tourists in Indonesia and Malaysia who comes to Japan.
In the lecture, the person in charge of JNTO will introduce the latest touring trend of Muslims. The representatives of travel agencies in both countried will also explain the characteristics of Muslim tourists.
This year is the 40th anniversary of intercommunication between Japan and ASEAN. So Japan Tourism Agency and JNTO are working to increase tourists to Japan with "Invite one million tourists from Southeast Asia to Japan campaign". This seminar is a part of it.
