日本ドゥ・イット・ユアセルフ協会は8月29日から31日までの3日間、幕張メッセで「JAPAN DIY HOME CENTER SHOW 2013」の開催を発表。
同ショウは国内外のＤＩＹ・ホームセンター関連企業が一堂に会する国内最大級の住生活関連イベントで、ＤＩＹの普及・啓発と関連産業の総合的な発展を目的に１９７８年から開催されている。
49回目の開催となる今年は、「あしたをＤｒｅａｍｉｎｇ！～世界はたくさんの夢に満ちている～」がテーマ。
Japanese Do It Yourself Society announced that it will hold a "JAPAN DIY HOME CENTER SHOW 2013" from August 29th-31st in Makuhari Messe.
The show, where domestic and foreign DIY and home center-related businesses will gather under one roof is the country's biggest housing-related event, aiming to comprehensively develop businesses promoting and educating about DIY, existing since 1978.
This year's 49th exhibition's theme is "Dream about tomorrow! ~The world is full of dreams~"
ＤＩＹを修繕・補修だけでなく、暮らしを彩るものまで幅広いものと捉え”「夢」を大切にしよう、ＤＩＹを楽しもう、モノづくりを実践しようというメッセージを込めた。
昨年から女性のＤＩＹ嗜好の高まりを受けて、「ＤＩＹ女子」をキーワードにさまざまな媒体を通じたＰＲを推進し、一般来場者の女性比率を5.1%増加させ、45.3％とした。
今年も女性向けに開発された商品・商材を紹介する「キラリＤＩＹ女子」を設置。また、新しく育児ベビー用品を出展品目に加えた。
DIY is not only about repairing things, but also making life more colorful and aiming at big ideas. It carries the message of cherishing our dreams, enjoying DIY and practising handmade creation.
Since last year, DIY saw an increase in interest among women. After some promotion, the keyword "DIY Girls" appeared in various media and the percentage of female visitors increased by 5.1%, reaching 45.3%.
Similarly, this year "Shine! DIY Girls" was established, introducing products and materials developed for women. Also, new childcare-oriented products were added to the exhibition's offer.
