日本ドゥ・イット・ユアセルフ協会は8月29日から31日までの3日間、幕張メッセで「JAPAN DIY HOME CENTER SHOW 2013」の開催を発表。
同ショウは国内外のＤＩＹ・ホームセンター関連企業が一堂に会する国内最大級の住生活関連イベントで、ＤＩＹの普及・啓発と関連産業の総合的な発展を目的に１９７８年から開催されている。
49回目の開催となる今年は、「あしたをＤｒｅａｍｉｎｇ！～世界はたくさんの夢に満ちている～」がテーマ。

Japanese Do It Yourself Society announced that it will hold a "JAPAN DIY HOME CENTER SHOW 2013" from August 29th-31st in Makuhari Messe.
The show, where domestic and foreign DIY and home center-related businesses will gather under one roof is the country's biggest housing-related event, aiming to comprehensively develop businesses promoting and educating about DIY, existing since 1978.

昨年から女性のＤＩＹ嗜好の高まりを受けて、「ＤＩＹ女子」をキーワードにさまざまな媒体を通じたＰＲを推進し、一般来場者の女性比率を5.1%増加させ、45.3％とした。
今年も女性向けに開発された商品・商材を紹介する「キラリＤＩＹ女子」を設置。また、新しく育児ベビー用品を出展品目に加えた。

Inspired by gaining popularity of DIY among female consumers, Japan DIY Industry Association promoted "DIY girl" on several media which increases the number of female audiences by 5.1% and the ratio of female audience became 45.3%.
In this year, "Shining DIY girl" corner which introduce the product for female customers was placed again and the nursery item were added to the list of items.
