手彫りのしおり。当店の伊勢型紙「手彫りのしおり」は、小紋柄・日本らしい図柄など３枚を１組にして和紙の小袋に入れたもので、小さい作品ですが繊細な彫刻が施されており、永らく皆様にご愛用いただいております。インテリアやご贈答・海外の方へのプレゼントにもにごも利用ください。商品の性質上薄い渋紙を用いておりますが、丁寧に扱えば、葉書やハンカチ程度でしたら染色にもご使用いただけます。部分拡大（※３枚を合成しています。）

Hand carving bookmark. This “Hand carving bookmark” of Ise paper pattern is a set of three bookmarks, which comes in a small Japanese paper bag. Each book mark has a fine pattern and other design with Japanese taste. Although they are small artworks, they are ornamented with fine carvings and have been popular items among our customers for a long time. Hand engraved bookmarks.`Ise Paper Patten Hand Engraved Bookmarks` of our shop is a set of three bookmarks, each with small classical pattern or Japanese pattern delicately engraved. They are prepared in a small bag made of Washi (handmade Japanese paper). Although,they are small items, we are patronized for long and from many.
They are suitable for decorating interior,and gift for everyone in Japan or abroad.
Although They are made of thin tanned paper for its composition, It is possible to use them for dye,using postcard or handkerchief with care of action.

茶色の紙は、和紙を3枚柿渋で張り合わせ、乾燥、燻煙し、もう一度柿渋を塗り、乾燥、燻煙を繰り返し、１ヶ月半程かけて仕上げた渋紙です。渋紙に、卓越した技術の伝承者が、特殊な彫刻刀で彫り抜いた小さな小さな芸術品です。かなり薄い渋紙（型地紙）に彫刻をしてありますので、取扱いにはご注意ください。注意して扱えば、染色にご使用もいただけますが、小さな点などは色が出にくい場合もございます。予めご了承ください。

Translation / English

The brown color papar are made with 3 sheets of Japanese paper. They are glued together with tannin liquid and then dried and go through smoking process. This procedure is repeated again and finally completed as tannin paper after one and half months of procedure. These are tiny art works of special chisel carving created by superb carvers, who will pass their traditional skills to the next generation. Please handle these bookmarks gently, since the tannin paper (ground paper) used for carvings are quite thin.
The tannin paper can be used for dyeing, if they are treated gently, but please also understand that there is some cases in which some of the fine parts such as small holes may be difficult to dye.

The brown paper is tanned paper made through process of sticking three Washi paper (handmade Japanese paper) together with an astringent persimmon extract, dry,and steam. Tanned paper finished up spending a month and half repeating these process.
They are tiny,tiny art work in tanned paper engraved by highly skilled traditional craft-makers using special graver.
Please handle with great care as they are made by considerably thin tanned paper (patter-foundational-paper) Although it is possible to use for dye with care, such as small dots could be difficult to get color through.
