私は大学で世界の歴史でたくさんの差別が行われて、今でも差別はどこにでも存在していることを学んできた。私の中での人種差別の考えが間違っていると確信させてくれた人はマイケルだ。彼は人種差別について大きな影響を世に残して去っていった。私が彼のすばらしさを知ったのは惜しくもかれが突然亡くなって、改めてメディアで彼がブームになったときだった。彼の「Black and White」が大好きだ。彼の口から人種差別をあのような歌詞でポップに歌ったことはたくさんの人の心をポジティブにしただろう

At college I learned that there have been many incidents of discrimination throughout history, and that discrimination still exists everywhere. The person who convinced me racial discrimination was wrong is Michael Jackson. He left a huge influence regarding racial discrimination. I learned how wonderful he was when he suddenly died, reviving his popularity in the media. I love his song "Black and White." As he himself sang such lyrics about racial discrimination, he influencened positively people's thinking.

Unfortunately just as I learned of this amazing person he suddenly passed away, then following that he once again became popular in the media. I particularly love his "Black and White." Him take the issue of discrimination and turn it into a beautiful pop song like that has surely made a positive impact on many people.
