But as you said, it was truly a miracle that no one was killed. I found out about the earthquake on Monday. As usual I saw it on the internet, and even though it was information about New Zealand that you couldn’t miss, I didn’t know about it for at least two days. I was thinking, if only I had heard about it sooner I would have called you to able to hear your voice and make sure you were safe… if only I had gone to New Zealand sooner… Even though I was able to confirm you were both safe, it was very negligent of me. Right now I’ve gathered information about it on the web and have come to understand the situation.

As you said, it's a miracle that nobody died. It was on Monday that I got to know the quake. Usually, I never miss what's going on in NZ but this time, for some reason, I hadn't known this big incident for as many as two days. If I had known this earlier, I could have called her to make sure she was all right and talked with her. I wish I had been there in NZ much earlier. I have to admit if I had been less lazy and updated more on NZ, I could have confirmed the safety of you earlier. Now I'm getting a clearer picture of what has happened after searching for info about it on the Net.

Though, as you said it must have been some miracle happened that nobody died at the earthquake. It was Monday that I found out about the earthquake. I hadn`t known such a big news though I always check the informations about New Zealand on the internet. I could have called her and listen to her voice to confirm if she`s alright, or if I had flown to New Zealand ealier... I`ve been spending time thinking of such things. If I weren`t this lazy I could have found out much earlier that you two were OK. Now I`m getting to understand the situation by gathering informations using the internet.

And now I’ve received your mail and found out that there was really a lot of damage suffered. Are you having any other difficulties in your life right now? I think that both your circumstances and the earthquake are very difficult to deal with, but please get along with good spirits somehow. I’ll say it again, but thank you so much for your mail. The fact that I love New Zealand so much is because there are truly such kind and wonderful people there. I was so happy that I could meet the two of you through your help. Thank you so much. In my heart I’m looking forward to the day we can meet again. Until then, please be well.
