ホームステイに私を受け入れてくれてありがとうございました。私は、今回が初めてのホームステイで、どういう家庭で生活することになるのか不安でした。でも、みなさんが私をあたたかく迎え入れてくれたので、安心することができました。英語もろくに話せず、何もわからなかった私ですが、家族同然のように扱っていただき、自分のことは自分でするスタイルで、自由に生活をさせてもらうことができたので、とても居心地がよかったです。英語を話す練習として、何度か話し相手になってくれたことは、うれしかったです。

Thank you so much for having me for the home stay. It was my first time and I was nervous about how I could cope with the family. But you welcomed me and it made me relived.
I could not speak much English and did not understand at all but I was comfortable because you treated me as a member of your family and let me do my stuff on my own and I felt so free.
It was great that you kept me a company for my English speaking practice. I appreciate it.
