ホームステイに私を受け入れてくれてありがとうございました。私は、今回が初めてのホームステイで、どういう家庭で生活することになるのか不安でした。でも、みなさんが私をあたたかく迎え入れてくれたので、安心することができました。英語もろくに話せず、何もわからなかった私ですが、家族同然のように扱っていただき、自分のことは自分でするスタイルで、自由に生活をさせてもらうことができたので、とても居心地がよかったです。英語を話す練習として、何度か話し相手になってくれたことは、うれしかったです。

Thank you for accepting me into your home. This was my first homestay, and I was worried about what kind of household I would be living in. However, thanks to the warm welcome I received from everyone, my worries disappeared. I know that my English wasn't very good and I didn't understand anything, but you invited me into your family and made me comfortable, allowing me the freedom to do what I wanted, in my own style. I was so happy to have you as conversation partners, helping me to practice my English.
