After many years and several hundred original Quad II amplifiers passing through here then I think it is time for me to move onwards and acknowledge the joy of brand new machines.

Whilst I will never try to convince anyone which is the 'better' sound production then with certainty I can say these are so much easier when it comes to the rest of any modern system with decent mains, RCA connections as standard, pre-amp freedom of choice and amps running temperatures which do not enable breakfast to be fried on them...

長年、そして数百ものオリジナルのQuad II アンプリファイアを取り扱ってきましたが、今こそ前進し、真新しい機器の良さを認識する時だと、私はそう思っています。

私は誰かに、どの機器のサウンドプロダクションが「より良いか」を説くつもりは全くないのですが、現代的なシステムとRCA端子を基準とした良質のメイン、プリアンプの選択の自由、そして朝食を炒めることなどできないレベルのアンプの稼動温度ということであれば、これらの機器の方がより使いやすいと確信をもって言えます。

何百ものオリジナルのQuad IIを使ってきた長年の月日が経て、ついにまったく新たなマシンを手にして一歩先に進むときが来ました。

私はこれまで確信を持って勧めることができる、”良いと思われる”サウンドプロダクション機器がありませんでした。しかし、これらは、標準のRCAコネクションで、プリアンプを自由に選べ、目玉焼きが焼けるぐらい熱くはならない、今まで主流だった現在のシステムより自信を持って勧められます。

何百ものオリジナルのQuad II アンプを長年扱ってきましましたが、これからは新品の機械の喜びも味わおうと思います。

確信をもって”より良い”音を作り出す物であると人に説得しようとは決してしませんが、そこそこ良いメインアンプ、ＲＣＡ接続（標準装備）、プリアンプ（自由選択）、アンプ（朝食が焼けるほと熱を発しない）を使ったモダンなシステムとしてはこれらが圧倒的に簡単であると言えます。
