Mr. Klaes showed that the theory of planned behavior applies to animals by measuring the PFC neuronal activity of a monkey who was given several tasks. Furthermore, he reported that PFC neurons moves in opposite direction to the reach task's goal. Recent studies showed that animals come up with several options to choose from every time they perform a behavior.
