Maintenance costs of Monju (nuclear power plant) which suspending operations is $ 59 million a day.
And the reprocessing plant ( create plutonium for Monju type reactor from spent nuclear fuel ) in Rokkasyo-mura, Aomori Prefecture turned out to be a monster which pig out 301,370,000 yen (the source is our electricity charges for each power company and tax ) a day.
That means we can construct two wind turbine generators of 2000 kw every day.
It's the same as we throw 360,000 McDonald's hamburgers away every day.
