「because」の代用で、「as」や「due to」もシチュエーションによって使い分けると、文章がスムーズになる場合もありますよ。例えば、「I've been busy these days with my work AS my company's gonna open a new outlet.」とか。

「as」は前後の文章を一まとめにくっつけて一気に話す時、「due to」は「because」よりも業務的な文体の時に使います。

細かい使い分けがきちんとできるようになれたらいいのですが、理屈ではわかってることでも実際に書く時になかなか実践できないこともあったりします。英語を書くのは難しいです。
