戦争遺産
いわき市の小名浜港には全国的にも珍しい旧日本海軍の駆逐艦、澤風と汐風が防波堤として沈められている。終戦後の建設資材の不足や米軍の方針により廃艦を利用して作られた。
澤風は1948年4月、魚市場の50ｍ先の沿岸に着底。汐風は同年8月、第一埠頭の西側に着底。
その後澤風は1965年に撤去され、現在は汐風のみが防波堤の一部になっている。
このタービンは、小名浜在住の旧海軍の人達が廃棄処分品を保存し、
