この商品は遠くに住む父が40年間夢見てやっと手にした望遠鏡でした。この4000ドルの高価な望遠鏡は、非常に重量が重く、年老いた父に返送を依頼することは不可能だからです。
結論としては、クレーム保証をお受けしたいと思います。
ただし、私は新品の商品を再度手配するための費用の全額を、御社とDHLが保証するか、もしくは、最低でも1000ドルは保証して欲しいと考えています。
父は、長年夢見ていた商品に大きなダメージがあることに、気を落としている。

I purchased this telescope for my aging father who had been dreaming of owning it for the last 40 years. He lives far away from me, and I'm afraid he will not be able to return this precious $4000 telescope since it is too heavy for him to handle.
Therefore, I would like to claim the warranty.
I would like the total amount for obtaining a brand-new telescope compensated by your company and DHL. If that is not possible, I would at least like to have $1000 compensated.
My father is really depressed about receiving a damaged telescope he had dreamed of for the longest time.

This telescope is what my father had been looking for 40 yeas, and finally got hold of. It is difficult to ask my old father to return it because the telescope is too heavy for him. So I conclude that I will receive the claim guarantee.
But, I would like you to guarantee all the fee for arranging a new item by you, or DHL, otherwise I would like to be paid at least $1,000 as a guarantee.
