購入された商品については、12月16日に日本を出発し、12月19日にシカゴの税関に到着し、現在検査を受けています。通常税関検査は1~2日程度で終了しますが、今回の場合到着してから4日目となっております。輸送業者(USPS)からは、輸入をされたお客様が直接税関に督促するのが最も効果的と言われております。お忙しい中大変恐縮ですが、お客様から税関に対して輸入検査の迅速化について督促をしていただければ幸いです。

We have a bad news for you.
Regarding the item that you purchased, it was sent from Japan on December 16th and arrived at customs
in Chicago on December 19th. It is being inspected. The inspection is completed in 1 or 2 days usually, but it is already 4th day after the arrival this time. The delivery company (USPS) says that it is the most effective that the customer who imported the item asks the customs by him or herself.
We hate to ask you while you are busy, but would you ask the customs to prompt the inspection of import?
