A eleven-year-old girl could not read letters, but there is no problem with the intelligence test. However, she was ADHD. After she was given therapy and medicines, she became to be able to read a whole book, though she could not read at all three months before, I was really surprised at such a progress in a short term.

There are few nurses of medical treatment in Japan, and it does not spread adequately yet in the USA, either. However, a lot of patients are supportive of the medical treatment nurses who spend for a long time with the patients. Also, they have advantage of studying nursing science and approaching to the illness variously.

A 11 year old girl who could not read a word because the reason was not a question of her intelligence but it was diagnosed as ADHD (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). With the therapy and medicine, she was able to finish reading a book which could not be done 3 months ago. It was really a surprise to see that the improvement was achieved within a short time.

In Japan, the is a limited number of medical nurse, and the system is US is not fully implemented. However, many of the patients are happy with the long term caring provided by the medical care nurse. Moreover, the strengths are to learn nursing and approach differently to the various kind of illnesses.
