This drum was made by a craftsman about 80 years ago, the early Showa era. Even though it has no values as a music instrument, it’s a valuable antique that shows the bygone era.

The golden cup is made to celebrate a happy occasion in Japan. The crane and the turtle depicted symbolize longevity while the treasure ship indicates financial fortune.

It comes with a paulownia box autographed by the potter.

This item was selected by tea master Mr. OO, a tea ceremony instructor, who knows about potteries.

This drum has been made about 80 years ago which is in early Showa period (1926-1989) by a craftworker. This does not have much of value as a musical instrument but as an antique, it is a valuable item to get to know about back in those days.

Gold cups are made to commemorate happy events in Japan. Crane and turtle drawn on it are symbols of long life and the treasure ship is a symbol of economic fortune.

It comes with a box made of paulownia wood with an autograph of the ceramic artist.

This item has been selected by a professor of Japan Tea Ceremony Academic Society, and a master of tea ceremony, Mr.●● who is a connoisseur of ceramics.
