The origin of the name of Edo Furin came from when Furin craftman, Yoshihara Shinohara(the father of Hiroshi Shinohara) named glass Furin as "Edo Furin" based on documents.After that, the name of Edo furin was spread.

The name origin of Edo wind-bell is in about 1965, based on literature by wind-bell craftsman, Mr. Yoshiharu Shinohara (the father of Mr. Hiroshi Shinohara), named glass wind-bell to Edo wind-bell and the name of Edo wind-bell was spread after that.
