Customs clearance (TNT) called us to inform of the arrival. We were told that on the customs clearance document, 2 pairs of animal sneakers were described as leather 100%. This is a mistake, and it’s actually synthetic fibers 100%. Japan has extremely high customs duties on leather shoes. You are charged 30 euros per pair. Please correct the document and email it to us as an attachment. It has to be turned into Japanese Customs. We need fax the document to TNT. Please take care of this matter urgently.

This is wrong, and it should be "100 percent by synthetic fiber". In Japan, import duties for the leather shoes is very high. 30€ is required for 1 pair. Please send the corrected clearance document by attaching at the e-mail. It is a document we submit to the clearance in Japan. We have to send the document to the clearance dealer (TNT) by fax. We appreciate your prompt handling.

We got a call from TNT. They informed us that the clearance document noted "leather 100%" instead of "2 pairs of ANIMAL SNEAKERS". It is an error. It should be "synthetic fiber 100%". In Japan, import duties of leather shoes are very expensive. It costs 30€ per pair. Please send us a corrected clearance document as an attached file. This is the document to submit to Japanese customs office. We have to fax the document to TNT. Please deal to it urgently.
