統合後の団体名称はJCMAに
12月９日、東京国際フォーラムで、来年6月に統合予定の日本PCO協会と日本コンベンション事業協会がそれぞれ臨時総会と中間総会を開催。新組織設立に向けた協議の内容を会員向けに説明した。
新組織の名称はJCMAとなる。
同日夕刻には、初の合同行事として意見交換会が実施され、両団体の会員や多くのMICE関係者が集い、親睦を深めた。
意見交換会では、CPAの分部日出男会長と日本PCO協会の近浪弘武代表幹事が２人で挨拶を行ない、早くも息のあったところを見せた

JCMA is a new name after integration
On December 9th, Japan PCO and Convention Planners Association of Japan that are going to be integrated in June next year held an extraordinary general meeting and mid general meeting respectively. They explained the details of what they had discussed for establishment of a new organization to the members.
The new name of the company is JCMA.
In the evening on the day, the participants exchanged their opinions as their first joint event where members of the both companies and a number of those who are related to MICE gathered and developed their friendship.
In the meeting where they exchanged opinions, Mr. Hideo Bunbu who is a chairman of CPA and Mr. Hirotake Chikanami who is a director of Japan PCO exchanged the greeting where they were harmonized.
