当時人気の高かった、「機動戦艦なでしこ」「まもって！守護月天」「新世紀エヴァンゲリオン」と中学生時代は、まさにアニメまっしぐらとなる。
高校生にて、初のコミケ参戦デビュー。あまりの人の多さと期待していた商品の多さに当時高校生に考えられないほどの浪費してしまう始末。
中学生・高校生・大学生といわゆる「萌え」「燃え」のアニメを一通り閲覧。合わせて、小学生より買い集めたマンガもすさまじい量に。いまや6000冊を越える蔵書となる。
