2014年度、通信販売市場売上規模予測は12.9兆円（年平均成長率 12.6%）と1998年度以来、売上高の増加が続く通販市場。なかでも九州には通販専業企業の多くが集中しており「通販王国」と呼ばれ、通販市場に大きく貢献している。
