From Fukuoka (JR Kyushu・Hakata Station) on the Sonic train it takes about two hours to arrive in Beppu. You can ask anyone which place represents hot springs in Japan but they should answer with the famous hot-spring spot "Beppu".
Also a highlight of Beppu tourism is the hell tour.

From Fukuoka ( JR Kyushu Hakata Station), it takes about 2 hour by Sonic Train to arrive in Beppu. Everybody say 「Beppu」, if they ware asked about famous Onsen in Japan. Beppu is famous Onsen spot.
Of course, you can enjoy Onsen, and Hell cruise (Onsen cruise) is also key attraction of Beppu's sightseeing.
