12月10日、11日の2日間、東京国際フォーラムで「第23回国際ミーティング・エキスポ」が開催されました。
今年は出展者の2割ほど増え、来場者も昨年を上回る3338人となりました。
開会式では観光庁長官の久保成人氏があいさつ。日本再興戦略に盛り込まれた国際会議誘致の強化など追い風を捉えさらなる日本MICEの成長を呼びかけました。
基調講演では東京オリンピック・パラリンピック招致委員会CEOの水野正人氏が「東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピック招致活動報告」と題して発表した。

"The 23th International Meeting Expo" was held at the Tokyo International Forum in two days of the December 10 and 11th.
This year,the number of exhibitors increased about 20%, the number of visitors was also 3338 people that is more than last year.
Mr. Kubo Narito who is secretary of tourism Agency greeted at the opening ceremony.
And he called for the further growth of Japan MICE by recognizing the tailwind that the strengthening of international conferences attract that was incorporated in Japan revival strategy.
In the keynote speech,Masato Mizuno who is bid committee CEO of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic announced under the heading of "Bid Activity Report of Olympic and Paralympic in Tokyo 2020 " .
