После этих выборов, по мысли оппозиционеров, новые власти Украины немедленно подпишут соглашение об ассоциации с ЕС. Решение нынешних властей отложить подписание на неопределенный срок стало поводом к массовым акциям протеста.
Однако для того, чтобы отправить правительство в отставку, у украинской оппозиции в парламенте недостаточно голосов. По словам Арсения Яценюка, под требованием об отставке подписались 160 депутатов. В Верховной Раде сейчас 441 депутат, у правящей Партии регионов - более 200 голосов.
Оппозиционеры надеются на голоса коммунистов, независимых депутатов и "перебежчиков" из ПР, разочаровавшихся в президенте Януковиче и его правительстве.

Oppositions think that after these elections new authorities of Ukraine will sign an agreement of association with EU immediately. The decision of the present authorities to postpone signing for an indefinite term became a reason for mass protest actions. However to dismiss the government, the Ukrainian opposition in parliament hasn't enough votes. According to Arseny Yatsenyuk, 160 deputies have voted for resignation. In the Verkhovna Rada there are 441 deputies, the ruling party of regions has more than 200 votes. Oppositions hope for votes of the communists, independent deputies and "deserters" from PR which were disappointed in president Yanukovych and his government.

After these choices, according the opposition, the new Ukrainian authorities will immediately sign the agreement to join the EC. The decision of the current authorities to set aside signing indefinitely became triggered mass protest.
However, there aren't enough opposition votes in the parliament in order to dissolve the government. According to Arsen Yatsenyuk, 160 politicians signed the demand for resignation. There are 441 member of the High Council at the moment, more than 200 of them from the ruling party.
The opposition is counting on the votes of the communists, independents, and defectors from the PR, disappointed in President Yanukovitch and his administration.

На пресс-конференции в понедельник Яценюк, Кличко и лидер партии "Свобода" Олег Тягнибок ничего не сказали о шансах на то, что Верховная Рада проголосует за отставку, ни о своих дальнейших действиях в случае неудачи.
"Готовится план захвата"
Некоторые политики в понедельник предположили, что в случае отказа большинства в Верховной Раде отправить правительство в отставку протестующие на Майдане захватят парламент.
"Если не будет принято никакого решения, то [...] Верховная рада будет занята митингующими. Тем более, что войти в Раду очень просто - намного проще, чем в администрацию президента и кабмин", - сказал Украинской службе Би-би-си бывший спикер парламента, независимый депутат Владимир Литвин.
