Государственный секретарь США Джон Керри сказал, что достигнутое в воскресенье с Ираном соглашение является первым шагом, чтобы не дать ядерной программе этой страны стать угрозой для ее соседей.
На пресс-конференции в Женеве, где проходили переговоры Ирана с шестью мировыми державами, Керри сказал, что если этот первый шаг приведет к нашей окончательной цели, которой является всеобъемлющее соглашение, это сделает мир безопаснее.
Керри сказал, что эта первая фаза соглашения дает время для работы, чтобы не дать Ирану обрести ядерные вооружения, подчеркнув свое намерение достичь более полного соглашения в течение шести месяцев.

USA Secretary of State John Kerry said that the agreement reached between the West and Iran is the first step in order to prevent the country's nuclear program from becoming a threat to its neighbours.
In a press conference in Geneva, where Iran held talks with 6 world powers, Kerry said that if the first step leads to our ultimate goal, which is a comprehensive agreement, it will make the world safer.
Kerry said that the first phase of the agreement gives time for work, in order to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, stressing his intention to attain a more full agreement within 6 months.
