★このやりとりの経緯です★
今、海外の貴金属加工メーカーに指輪のサンプルを製作して貰うよう依頼しています。

指輪には、S, M, Lサイズがあり、最初に指輪のサンプルをSサイズで10本だけ製作して貰おうとしています。
ところが、メーカーがこのサンプルを10本作るという数値に難色を示しています。

実は、以前メーカーと先日直接会話した際、MOQは各サイズ10本ずつ、計30個と言われていたのです。

僕がサンプルで10本だけ製作を依頼したので、約束と違うのではないか？今後もMOQを無視して小ロットで発注するのではないか？と先方に誤解をされているようです。

指輪を作る際には金型（モールド）をまず製作する必要があり、このモールドの製作費が結構掛かるため、メーカーが製作したサンプルの品質が悪かった場合、モールドから作り直さなければなりません。

つまり、メーカーの言う通り最初にS,M,Lのモールドを先に作ってしまうと、指輪が作り直しになる場合、モールドもまた全て作り直す必要があるため、費用がとんでもなく掛かります。
そこで、メーカーに、初回のみ、Sサイズのモールドだけを先に製作し、サンプルを10本だけ作って欲しいと依頼したいのです。

その為、初回のみSサイズのモールドを先に製作し、指輪を十個作って欲しいとお願いしています。
それ以降は、MOQで30個（またはそれ以上）を毎回纏めて発注しますから安心して下さい。
MOQ以下で発注することはありません。

真ん中、That is why～の下りは、この翻訳だと、”初回のみ” という最も大事な一文が
抜けています。これでは、『だから私はあなたにＳサイズモールドの製作と10本のリングのみ製作して欲しいと頼んでいるのです。』という意味になってしまうのではありませんか？
これでは、ますます相手に誤解を招きます。
補足をお願いできると助かります。

申し訳ないです。英国在住の為、moulds含め全て英国のスペルを使用しております。ご指摘頂いた点を改善して、もう一度翻訳致します。
