東京都と公益財団法人東京観光財団は、「コンベンション開催支援助成」および「コンベンション開催支援プログラム（誘致支援事業）」の第3回目の登録申請の受付を開始した。
これまでも、海外諸都市とのコンベンション誘致競争を勝ち抜くことを目的に、「コンベンション誘致・開催支援事業」を実施しており、国際コンベンションの誘致・開催にかかる活動を一体的に支援している。
同事業は、東京の多彩な魅力を演出・発信し、国内外から来訪者を呼び込む」施策に指定され、重点的に実施してきたもの。

Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau started the registration of the third round of applications for "the convention support grants" and "the convention support program(convention attraction program)".
Up to now, they have implemented "Convention Attraction and Support Project" for the purpose of winning in the fierce competition against overseas cities. They support activities to invite and hold international conventions in an integrated manner.
This project has been designated as the measures to stage and transmit a great variety of charm of Tokyo and attract visitors from home and abroad and has been implemented intensively.
