When registering a Facebook account, the real name and a picture of the actual person, so basically a profile of the real social being has to be used. It is pointed out however, that while this may be quite effective for people who hold pride in these things, for people who feel inadequate it feels like an invisable barrier. Furthermore it is pointed out, that it can't become one of the main networks for people who can't communicate in english.
