Olivia Villarreal (olivia_1957)

I currently live in Caracas, Venezuela. I was born in Colombia and Spanish is my mother language. My father was an officer of World Health Organization. Because of his work, I was raised in different countries of Latin America. I lived in Haiti since I was three (3) years old and learned French . I studied elementary and highschool in American schools and I master English language as if it were my mother tongue. I studied translation in Translation School of Berlitz and made my specialization in legal translation.
I've been working in Toshiba for the past 40 years and I have been in charge of all the translations of this company (legal and technical translations). Of course I've been interpreter and everything that is related to the interpretation of English-Spanish.
Due to my job, I've have a close connection with the Japanese culture. Back in 1990, I took a course of Japanese language and had a chance to learn some Japanese basic characters. I am familiar with Katakana and Hiragana.
Given the difficult political situation of this country, after I retire from this company, I might be moving to Brazil. For this reason, I am currently studying Portuguese.

Therefore in summary, I am completely fluent in Spanish and English. I can speak French but I fail in writing it. I have some knowledge of Japanese and I am studying Portuguese.
