日本と米国は、これまで長きにわたり、航空分野において良好な関係を築いてきました。1969年に両政府間で交わされた協力に関する交換公文がその契機と考えますと、今年で、実に50年となります。その協力の分野は、多くの分野にわたり、日本にとって米国は最重要パートナーであると考えています。今後は本格的な航空時代を迎えますが、これまで築いてきた両国の関係をもとに、次の50年に向けて、ますます発展させていきたいと考えておりますので、みなさまからの引き続きのご支援をお願い申し上げます。

Japan and US have been making a good relationship in aviation industry for over long time. In 1969, I am thinking about the exchanging documents for cooperation between two countries, it is celebrated for 50 years. We beleve that US is the most important partner for not only in this field but also others, In the future we will be facing the important business in aviation industry, we are stiriving to work with for the next 50 years for developing in this field.
