昨日の台風は大した被害にならず良かったですね。
しかしわたしの明石に住んでいる友達は、夜中から朝方まで停電でエアコンが動かず寝苦しかったそうです。今日も急に雨が降って来ましたね。わたしは仕事の出先でこの雨でびしょ濡れになりました。暑いしちょうど良かったよ。

It was good to know that the typhoon yesterday did not hurt much.
However, my friend living in Akashi said that the air conditioner did not move due to power outage from midnight to the morning, it was hard to sleep. It rained suddenly today as well. I got drenched out at job due to this rain. It was hot so this turned fine.
