銀行法の改正に伴って、日本におけるIBMの事業を継続する上で必要なことが何かを調べるために、現在、私は様々な調査を行っています。既に、日本のメガバンクの関係者からのヒアリングが終わり、これからは、いよいよ金融庁と財務省の高官に直接話を聞く予定です。状況が把握でき次第、ご報告したいと思います。

In accordance with the change of the Banking Act, there is a need for me to conduct various investigations in order to find out what is necessary for IBM's business to continue in Japan. We had already finished the hearings with the related personnel from Japan's mega banks. Going forward, it's about time that we will be speaking directly to the senior officials from Financial Services Agency and Ministry of Finance. As soon as we have an understanding of the situation, I would then report on it.
In addition, to progress with the investigation, I need new namecards which mention my new job title so I would like to request for this on an urgent basis.
