シリコンバレーには世界中から起業家が集まり、スタートアップが毎年次々と誕生している。残念ながら日本の起業数はアメリカの1/5と低い水準である。
ベンチャーキャピタルは起業家と投資家をつなぎ合わせ、スタートアップを資金的に援助すると共に、彼らを育てる役割も担っている。そのおかげで世界中から起業家が集り、彼らが安心して起業し次々とイノベーションを起こす。
その詳細な仕組みを現地のベンチャーキャピタで学び、日本でも多くの人が気軽に起業ができる環境を私が作り上げていきたい。

At Silicon Valley, this is where the world's entrepreneurs gather and many start-ups are created one after another every year. Unfortunately, Japan's start-up numbers are as low as just one-fifth as that in the US'.
Venture capital brings entrepreneurs and investors together. With help in the form of funds, venture capitalists bear the responsibility of nurturing these start-ups as well. Thanks to this, these entrepreneurs can gather here and feel assured to churn out never-ending innovations.
I have learned the detailed structure of how to facilitate such a process from the venture capitalists in the US and hope to create a similar environment in Japan where people can feel at ease to start new businesses.
