まず今回の件において、私が返品のポリシーをよく理解していなかったことをお許しください。
しかし、壊れた２つの商品は両方とも捨ててしまったので見つかりませんし、
仮に見つかったとしても、それを送り返す費用はこちらで負担しなければなりません。
新しく商品を買うことはできませんし、そもそも壊れた商品を送ってきたあなたに一番の
責任があると思いますので、２つ分の合計$800はあなたが負担するべきだと思います。
厳しい言い方で大変恐縮ですが、これが私の考えです。

First, please forgive me that I did not understand the policy for return the goods.
However, I could not find the both of two broken items as I throw them away and if I could find them, that means I should bear the cost for sending back.
I cannot purchase new one and I think you are the one who are blame to the broken items so you should bear the $800 for the 2pcs.
I am afraid my saying is too demanding but this it my opinion.
