私は相変わらず難波で暮らし、一旦英語の勉強を諦めたのに、去年から子供達の交換留学で半年おきに英文でメールのやり取りです。先日娘がホームステイから戻りその後のタイミングで見つけたのでつい連絡してしまいました。日本に住んでるし旅行で使うくらいだと思って逃げきったと思ったのに、英語が未だに私を追い詰めてきます。まだまだ英文を考えるのに時間が掛かるので、諦めてまた時間を作って勉強をし直そうと思っています。

I'm still living in Namba. Though I gave up studying English for a while, I am to exchange e-mails once half a year in English since my children became exchange students from last year. The other day, my daughter came back home from her host family, and I found you just after that, so I couldn't help, but to contact you. I'm living in Japan and thought I would use English just when I go travelling, thinking I totally have escaped it, but it still comes back and haunts me. It still takes time to think sentences in English, so I surrendered and plan to take time for study it again.
