委託元は、年始は1月3日まで休暇のため、それまでに、1月1日を利用開始日とするagreementの発行、もしくはagreementの発行が遅れる場合でも1月1日から利用可能な旨のメール連絡をいただければ、こちらとしてはギリギリ間に合います。

I appreciate that you would make as much effort as possible.
As the contractor is on holidays until January 3rd, we would be fine if you will issue the agreement that declares January 1st as the starting date, or at least if you will write us an email that declares the approval of the usage from January 1st in case that you cannot issue soon.
