He is [working on that committee] very independently from the business. It has absolutely nothing to do with the business… He is a third generation Korean Japanese, but he really loves Japan. He really wanted to do some significant contribution for Japan as a country… He is anti-nuclear power, and he really thinks new energy, safer energy should be promoted. And he wants to spend his time to develop such activities. Of course this part he can’t do it alone, so he tries to team up with others, involving the government to try to do something.

彼はビジネスとは離れたところで、その委員会で仕事をしています。本当に彼のビジネスとは全く関係がないにも関わらず...　彼は在日韓国人Ⅲ世ですが、本当に日本を愛しています。彼は一国として、本当に日本に貢献したいと思っていました...彼は反原発派であり、新しい安全なエネルギーの開発が推し進められることを願っています。そしてそういった活動に自分の時間を注ぎたいと思っています。もちろんこれは彼一人では出来ないことなので、他人や政府と協力して行おうとしています。
