引越しや警備員のアルバイトなど外での仕事をしていた時、休憩時間になると必ず缶コーヒーを買ってタバコと一緒に飲んでいた。特に雨が降っている時や冬の寒い時期には熱い缶コーヒーは手を温めてくれたし身体も温かくなった。その頃は香りを楽しむでも味を楽しむでもなく身体を温めてくれて、たばこと一緒に飲むことがとてもおいしかった。朝も晩も働いて合間にコーヒーを飲んでいたから一日8本位は飲んでいたと思う。身体には悪いのだろうけど、その時はなんとも思っていなかった。

When I was working outside as part-time job for a removal staff or a security guard, I always bought a can coffee on my break, and had it and smoking. Especially on rainy days, or very cold winter days, a hot can coffee warmed my hands, and my body also got warmed up. At that time, I was not enjoying either coffee aroma or coffee taste, but I was really happy I could warm my body, and I could enjoy the coffee itself with a cigarette.
As I was drinking from early morning till late at night and drank a can coffee at every break, I think I had total about 8 cans of coffee a day. It might have done harm on my body, but I did not care about it at all.
