青森ヒバ（写真左）、ひのき（写真中央）、杉（写真右）、ほか全7種類の木にカビの胞子を塗布し、温室で10日間培養した実験です。
青森ヒバ以外の木、全てにカビが発生。青森ヒバは表面だけでなく周囲のカビも撤退する結果に。驚異的な抗菌力を見せ付けました。

比類なき防カビ性、抗菌、防虫効果を持つ銘木、樹齢100〜200年の青森ヒバを使ったハンドメイドアイテムを提供します。7年前に枕木として埋めた青森ヒバを掘り起こすと、中が使える状態に驚きました。

This is an experience where mold spore was coated to 7 kind of woods namely Oamori Hiba (left photo), Japanese cypress (middle photo), Japanese cedar (right photo) and others and then cultivated for 10 days under room temperature.
All the wood except Aomori Hiba had mold grown. Aomori Hiba not only prevented to have the mold on its surface but also the mold on the neighboring woods to Hiba. It showed amazingly strong anti-fungal effect.

We are proud that we can serve you with the hand made crafts using the precous wood Aomori Hiba that aged from 100 to 200 years having the incomparable mold preventing effect, anti-fungal effect, and anti-insect effect. It was amazing to find out that inside of Aomori Hiba that was digged out from the land was in good condition to be used despite the fact that it was was buried as a railway sleeper 7 years ago.
