Hello, lunawavejp. I had the opportunity to test the Sigma lens today and I found it to be sharp and free of any problems with the focusing, etc. The only issue now is the cosmetics which I feel do take away from the resale value of the lens (a good lens holds its value as you know). Would a $40USD reduction be acceptable to you? That equals 25% of original purchase plus 25% of the duty and taxes I paid? (which was based on the original purchase price)
Please let me know how you feel about this.
