Your answer to my question was "shutter works at all speeds." However, this camera does not allow the shutter to either charge or release. This only means one thing; i.e., the internal mechanism is broken. I do not believe this happened during shipping. Let's say it did happen during shipping due to excessive vibration; however, in such a case, much more fragile focusing screen should also be broken. In reality, this fragile glass screen is intact and shows no sign of abnormality.
