First of all, could you make an inquiry to A company in the USA mentioning that you have a written guarantee of Japan? In case you can not receive a warranty repair, the product should be repaired by A company in Japan. In this case, could you send the written guarantee and a note that state the detail of the fault together with the watch?
Please note that a non-free repair is applied in the following cases: the customer do not have a written guarantee, the warranty period is already expired when the watch arrives here, or the fault was caused by the customer.
