The Boston Consulting Group forecasts an additional 70 million in Indonesia’s middle class by 2020. However, while there has been significant growth in consumer spending, there is still a sizable gap in the necessary payment, logistics, and internet infrastructure.

“We aim to bridge the gap towards a fully functioning e-commerce ecosystem in Indonesia, says Albert Lucius, CEO and co-founder of Kudo. “We strongly believe that Kudo’s social commerce model will truly elevate Indonesia’s ecommerce scene to the next level […] Kudo is riding on the rise of ecommerce in Indonesia by enabling buyers to conveniently shop online, even without internet.”
