江崎グリコ株式会社が、株式会社伊藤園、岩塚製菓株式会社とコラボレーションし、各社のオリジナルキャラクターを活用した店頭プロモーションを本州・四国の総合スーパー「イオン」にて4月7日（火）より合同で開始しました。

従来の既存キャラクターコンテンツとタイアップするような取り組みとは一線を画し、オリジナルキャラクターを「商品の魅力を伝えるアンバサダー」として位置付け、展開しています。

Ezaki Glico Co., Ltd. has entered into collaboration with Itoen Co., Ltd. and Iwazuka Confectionery Co., Ltd. and on April, 7 (Tuesday) have started a joint promotional event employing original mascots (characters) of each company in Hypermarkets "Aeon" located on Honshu and Shikoku islands.

They have drawn a clear distinction between the tie-up of previously used material related to already existing mascots (characters) and are now deploying original mascots (characters) to which they have assigned a role of "ambassadors who convey the attractiveness of the products."
