Still, of the five startups that joined Skystar’s first batch, only two are still active. One morphed into a branding agency called Dreambox while the other, Inigame, continues to work on its Indonesian language games portal. Both teams still use Skystar as their headquarters.

“Many of the first batch returned to their studies at the university,” says Oetama. She adds that the students in the incubator program are sometimes still enrolled and still have to face exams and final papers.
