修正していただいた訳文の"some of them are not working while there are columns"は、"there are some columns which are not woking"といった意味でしょうか？原文を読んで、機能していないのはcolumnsのことだと捉えたのですが、修正していただいた訳文ではcolumnsの前にthemがあります、このthemは何か他のものを指しておられるのでしょうか(原文の解釈が間違っていた）？
あと、「等」の意味はe.gで表現したつもりでした。これとetc.をセットで使うことについて、冗長、との指摘もよくありますがいかがでしょう？

ごめんなさい、私もレビューする際、センテンス全部を
書き換えるのも難なので、あえてもとの翻訳文をある程度残し、
部分的にのみ修正することがよくあります。
some of them の them はウェブサイトの一つ一つの機能を
指したつもりでした。意訳が混ざってますが、"them"を的確に使える文言は
厳密には日本語に記載されていません。
"there are some columns which are not woking"で
正しいと思います。ただ、もとの原文が何かの
資料から一部だけ抜き取ってきたような依頼ですので、
正確にニュアンスを表現するのは難しいと思います。
"機能する"の主語がcolumnsである可能性は
十分にあると思います。ただし、私も確定はできません。
e.g.は"for example"の意味なので、"～等"を表すetc.とは
重複しないかと思われます。
私も修行生なので、専門家のような回答はできないのですが、
すこしでも参考になれば幸いです。
