こういった由来のため宝登山神社は火災盗難よけなどのご利益で知られており、またミシュラン・グリーンガイド・ジャポンにおいて、1つ星に選定されたことから多くの参拝客が訪れるようになりました。
宝登山山頂には奥宮が鎮座しています。
こちらの神社では毎日祈願祭がとり行われ、家内安全、商売繁盛、火防盗賊よけ、交通安全、金運招福などご祈願を受け付けています。
上を見上げると立派な龍の彫り物があります。
全部で5頭の龍がおり、邪気から神を護っていると言われています。
